Hey everyone,

The new boards are now in hand! As we discussed in our previous update, these prototype final revision boards were fabricated to resolve the issues with the previous run of prototypes, namely the power circuitry.

This new design incorporates a few upgrades along with the new power circuit design. The most important of these would be the switch to a direct board-to-board contact between the boards. In the beta mod we used wires, and in previous prototypes we used cables. Both of these add to clutter and can be potential failure points (especially wire connections)

Now that we have these boards, we are immediately commencing testing. We're going to put these boards through the same rigorous testing we have done with previous prototypes, but we'll update everyone along the way as soon as we have news. All of us at AVS and CEPD are really proud of what we've created and we can't wait to dive into working with this prototype.
